The Grand

The Grand in Folkestone opened in 1903,  It was one of the first buildings in the country to feature a steel frame, cavity wall insulation and a suspended ceiling.

The hotel was a magnet for Edwardian high society. King Edward VII and his mistress, Alice Keppel, were frequent guests.

Today The Grand is a hub for arts, wellbeing, hospitality and community activity.

I photograph members of the Board for the launch of their new website.
